How billing works — why Ordinary is monthly-only
Ordinary's paid plans are billed monthly only. There's no annual plan and no annual discount, because pricing scales with your store's revenue.
How billing works — why Ordinary is monthly-only
Ordinary’s paid plans are billed monthly only. There’s no annual plan, and no annual discount.
Do you offer annual billing?
No. Every paid plan is a single monthly charge.
The reason is simple: your plan price scales with your store’s revenue. Bigger stores pay more; smaller stores pay less. That kind of usage-based pricing is billed monthly — Shopify charges it on your regular monthly Shopify bill — so there’s no annual option to choose and no “pay yearly to save” discount.
What you’re charged
- One monthly charge per paid plan.
- The amount reflects the revenue tier your store is currently in. As your store grows into a higher tier, the monthly price moves up to match; if it settles back down, so does the price.
- Free is always $0/mo.
See Understanding your plan for the full plan ladder and Understanding your GMV tier for how the revenue tiers work.
Cancellation
You can cancel any time — Settings → Billing → Change plan → Free.
- You keep paid access through the end of the current monthly cycle.
- No further charges after that.
- Your historical data and integrations stay intact, and reappear if you upgrade again later.
